About Niki

I learned early what it feels like to disappear into the background. As a child, I was bullied in primary school. I was a bit heavier than the other kids, partly because my thyroid barely worked, and I quickly started hiding, trying not to draw attention or invite criticism. Deep down, I felt helpless and out of place.

I made myself a promise: I never wanted anyone else to feel the way I did. That silent vow became the driving force in my life and, in my twenties, it sparked my search for a way out of that deep sense of powerlessness.

For years, I bumped into the same walls: I knew what I wanted, but something kept holding me back. I set goals, started motivated, but soon became frustrated because I didn’t persevere or I subconsciously sabotaged myself. The more I tried, the more I felt like I was stuck in a vicious cycle.

I started asking myself questions:

  • Why is change so hard, even if you know what’s good for you?
  • Why do we sabotage ourselves just when we are about to succeed?
  • Why does success seem obvious to others, but feels out of reach to me?

This search began with my struggles, but grew into a passion to find answers. I not only wanted to understand what was holding me back, but also how I could break through those blockages.

Over the past ten years, I have immersed myself in personal development, therapy, coaching, and the power of our subconscious. I have followed courses, devoured books, and completely immersed myself in topics such as mindset, self-love, and self-sabotage. In doing so, I discovered something special: our biggest obstacles are not outside of us, but within ourselves – and we have the power to break through them.

From uncertain to unstoppable

I have learned that our thoughts and beliefs determine everything. When I started working on my self-talk and letting go of limiting beliefs, I slowly felt the confidence in myself grow. It gave me the space to let go of what no longer worked, to dream again, to choose what makes me happy, and to set goals that really resonate with who I am.
